Seven operating modes: Red, blue, green, yellow, purple, orange and automatic cycling. Color settings and cycling do not establish seven independent wavelengths. The supplied material does not consistently define the component light sources of the purple and orange settings.
IR/Red key: The control panel uses this combined label. The supplied manual uses inconsistent infrared terminology and gives no verified infrared wavelength; this page therefore does not specify a separate near-infrared LED channel.
Separate warming: 38–60°C settings in 1°C steps; heating off by default. Temperature settings are not recommended skin temperatures.
Make room for a regular light-care ritual
Position the fully unfolded dome over the chosen area on a stable, level surface with both sides supported evenly. Keep the light bars and ventilation clear. Reposition the switched-off device between areas rather than treating it as a bed-sized enclosure.
Folding is for storage after use. Do not operate the device folded or propped on makeshift supports.
A clear routine, from setup to storage
- Fully unfold the dome on a stable, dry, level surface in a ventilated room, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and flammable materials. Keep ventilation openings clear.
- Connect the original adapter securely to the device, then to a suitable mains outlet. Check the adapter input label for local electrical compatibility.
- Wear suitable light-protection goggles throughout use. Do not look directly into the light sources; closing your eyes is not a substitute for eyewear.
- Press MODE to select time, temperature or brightness, then use the increase / decrease keys. Choose a color or cycle. The manual lists 9%–99% brightness in 10-point increments, with 49% as the default. Heating is off by default; when enabled, its starting setting is 38°C.
- Switch off and disconnect power after the session. Let the unit cool if needed, then clean gently with a soft cloth and store dry. Do not immerse, pour water over the unit or clean while connected.
Timer settings: 5–60 minutes in 5-minute steps; 30-minute default. The maximum timer setting is not a recommended session length. Use the session guidance supplied with your unit; do not infer a daily schedule from the adjustable timer.

What skincare goals is it designed for?

Can I use the dome while it is folded?
No. Fully unfold it and place both sides evenly on a stable, level surface. Fold it only for storage after disconnecting power.
Do I need eye protection?
Yes. Wear suitable light-protection goggles during the session and never look directly into the light sources.
Does the timer tell me how long I should use it?
5–60 minutes in 5-minute steps; 30-minute default. These are device settings. Follow the supplied use guidance and your tolerance; the maximum is not a target duration.
Does SQ22 have a verified near-infrared wavelength?
The panel is labeled IR/Red, but the supplied documents use conflicting infrared descriptions and provide no verified infrared wavelength. Choose by the verified visible settings, LED count and controls shown here rather than an assumed near-infrared specification.
Who should not use it?
